One of the hottest trends right now is rose gold. This luscious shade is popping up everywhere! Nearly every cosmetics brand now offers rose gold hued makeup. I have even seen rose gold Nike shoes, costume and fine jewelery, and designer purses!
Rose is a universally flattering shade and the gold reflects are perfect for the holiday season. My favorite thing about this trend is that rose gold can be used for both natural makeup looks as well as glamorous nights out!
I compiled a list of rose gold products I love (& where to buy!):
One of my favorite rose gold products is the Huda Beauty Rose Gold eyeshadow palette (250aed, Sephora). It is a unique palette in that it contains foiled metal eyeshadows as well as shimmer and matte pigment shadows. The top row of shadows must be applied with your finger in order to get maximum color payoff.
The eyeshadow look below is created with Huda Beauty's Rose Gold eyeshadow palette.
The Mario Master Palette by Anastasia of Beverly Hills (262aed, Sephora)
also contains shades with rose gold tones. This is an incredibly easy palette to use due to the very buttery texture of the eyeshadows.
Max Factor Masterpiece Nude Palette in Rose Nudes (114aed, Lifestyle) is a beautiful and budget- friendly palette containing a range of rose and gold hued shadows. The palette contains shimmer and matte shadows to help you to create a natural or a glammed up rose gold effect.
I also love Bite Beauty's amuse bouche lipstick duo in Fig/Rose Gold ($14, Sephora.com). If you are unable to buy online from the US Sephora website, try Huda Beauty's liquid lipstick in Bombshell (100aed, Sephora). It is a nude shade that will compliment rose gold eyeshadow.
Marc Beauty Le Marc Creme lipstick also has a beautiful nude shade with rose undertones called Sonic Truth (150aed, Sephora). If you have a deeper skin tone, try Nars Audacious lipstick in Anita (160aed, Sephora).
A wallet-friendly option is NYX lipgloss in Gold Pink (39aed, Lifestyle). You can apply this gloss alone, or with any pink or nude lipstick to get a beautiful rose gold tone to your lips.
This blush will work well on light to medium skin tones. It has a beautiful gold sheen (aka not sparkly!). Apply lightly during the day and a little more generous for night!
For a rose gold glow, take a look at Becca highlighters in C-Pop and Rose Gold (174aed, Sephora). Becca is famous for their highlighters, and for good reason! The finely milled pressed powder gives your skin the most beautiful and natural illumination. No disco ball here! C-Pop works well for light to medium skin tones and Rose Gold is best for medium to deep skin tones.
The hottest nail polish out right now is Formula X nail polish in Baroque Babe. The color is a collaboration between Formula X nail polish and Dubai's glamorous beauty guru Huda Kattan. The catch? Only available in the USA! If you are able to shop online or have a friend visiting the states, the color is definitely worth picking up! It's a beautiful metallic pink with gold reflects ($12.50, Sephora.com).
To be honest, I searched all over the Dubai Mall for a similar nail polish shade and could not come up with anything! If you are coveting this nail polish and unable to get one from the USA, I recommend buying both a warm toned pink and a gold shimmer nail polish and mixing them together. Check out the wide array of shades of Sephora Brand nail polishes to find your perfect mix for rose gold nails (25aed, Sephora).
